slikkrikk
Are all of the above parks going to be included in the huge MVP 2006 download? Hope so.
Pirate
There is a night and day version of Minute Maid. I was a fan of his time with both the Astros and Rangers. I grew up in the 80's so that covers those two stints. Yes, with my finishing Ameriquest I will have done 21 stadiums I think. Again I appreciate the compliments. Pirate
Slik I think only a select few will be included. But there is a possiblity that they will all be packaged up together. With the response from this thread i should open a paypal account and garner donations! My work for now is still enough enjoyment for me, that I need no retriibution. Royal Blues
Ah, I didn't realize there was a night version. The last Minute Maid I downloaded only had Hollywood's "juiced" day version. And yeah, I grew up through the 80's too (10 really short months away from 30), raised just south of Houston. The game definitely had a different face then: Ryan, Hershiser, Dawson, Sandburg, Dale Murphy, Von Hayes, Valenzuela...the list goes on and on. slikkrikk
Keep mentioning those great Dodger names. ;)
Royal Blues
Slik - The problem with including the stadiums would be the sheer file size. All the stadiums together weigh roughly 220 MB.
bhutsell
Might be a first time post, don't remember. Never played MVP '05, but appreciated the mods to the '04 game, which I haven't played in a long while. Anyway, I live in the St. Louis area and work downtown, park in the stadium garage. If you are looking for some high res shots of the semi-completed stadium, I'd be willing to try and provide them. Access to the construction site is somewhat limited at the moment, but I could probably get decent shots of anywhere in the stadium that you needed. If you can wait that long, I will try to get tickets to the exhibition game on the 4th of April between their Memphis and Springfield farm teams and get the pictures of ads and placements. If not, I should be able to get tickets to the second reg. season game on the 12th (night game, though). Also, if you didn't dig around on the johnsebben website, here is a nice pic of the exterior SW corner (is that moddable?)

Pirate
As many photos as I can get of the inside would be best. I need some shots of the ad placement once the walls go up and such. I'd really appreciate anythig you get. Thanks.
slikkrikk
Royal -- yah I know. A pain to click them all though and download them, takes forever. Perhaps if there could be packs of 5 or so released? That would be excellent.
Pirate
I'll try putting them together by division. Would that be cool? Just my parks, but I did most of the NL West, Central and AL Central and West.
Ghostrider
Pirate, I have your hook-up again. This site has some pictures of the stadium at night, with the lights on, so you can get a look at the light placement, etc. It should help you visualize how it should look at night. Also, there is a video of a tour of the stadium. I hope these help you out. I'll keep posting pictures and such as I come across them. Still no ads yet as far as I can tell. I think someone posted this image gallery already, but the images are either updated or different...so see if they help. The videos go down every once and a while because of bandwidth issues. http://www.hdsounds.com/busch/BuschIIITour.wmv (may not work) http://www.hdsounds.com/busch/BuschIIItour(small).wmv http://www.hdsounds.com/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=

Pirate
No. Work will be ongoing for the first couple of months into the season. I think they said that it will be complete by the All Star game, but the team will be able to play there on opening day.

JoeRudi26
Is something wrong with rolies dodger stadium? With all due respect to all modders, Rolie's Dodger Stadium rocks! I am also looking forward to Pirate's updates.

slikkrikk
Is something wrong with rolies dodger stadium? It's a TERRIFIC looking mod -- but it's not Dodger Stadium 2005. For the 2005 season the sides were moved in and filled with seats, there were ads in the outfield instead of the great murals. Also, the 'Think Blue' sign is a lot further to the left. In 2006, Dodger Stadium is going to have different colored seats and no doubt some different designs on the outfield walls, among other changes. They're going back to the original 1962 Opening Day color scheme. Notice how the boundaries around the infield are a lot closer in?: Go here for more detailed pictures of the restoration: http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/NASApp/m...renovations.jsp
Pirate
It hits like a ton of bricks. Maybe, like my stress fracture, I did too much too soon. One second I am surrounded by blue dots and making stadiums, the next I am bitter an angry because I don't have enough verts. Hell, even work suffers as I dream how I am going to get that image into a stadium. So again I step away from my work. I am not "retiring" like I did in April, but I am stepping aside for awhile. I just need a break. I need to play some games. SeanO take your time with Busch. Do as much as you want. Finish it if you like. Somehow it will get done. Sean O
Well, I have to reinstall the game, and my cd is all messed up, so I'm a bit more delayed as it is. I'm certainly not stressing with getting it complete, so we'll both just chill on it for a while. I have Sundays in february off, so that's pretty tremendous. Busch will be out in the future, be assured of that, and it will be spectacular.
five
Wow look at that grass pattern. If I get some time, I am going to try my hand at that. It looks great.
Jdurg
Has anybody thought about opening up a PayPal account and burning all of the updates onto a CD and shipping it out to people who will pay for the shipping and CD costs?

Yea, and then we can all go to jail. Why would you want to but it when you can download it for free?
