rolliefingers08
So here it is... I had 2 dynasty files, one was athletics2, one was athletics. Athletics2 was the one I DIDNT want to delete, and athletics was the one i DID want to delete. Instead, I fudged up big time and mixed them up, so I deleted the dynasty I wanted to keep. I went to check the recycle bin and the .sav file wasn't in there, so can anyone tell me how I can find this file? Is it somewhere in the MVP directory, or in some temp file folder? Because it appears that the game completely deleted it off my system. I'm doing a complete search of my computer, but it's not looking like anything will come up, so I'm hoping someone knows... PLEASE, thanks.
five
You could use some recovery tools and recover it probably.
MarkB
I use Norton Systemworks and that comes with a Recycle Bin protector as well an an UnErase Wizard, so if you delete something permanently, there is a good chance you'll be able to get it back as long as you're reasonably quick. However, I'm not sure if that works for new installs. I'm sure there are quite a few programs out there that can access the different clusters of the hard disk where a file was stored but has been deleted, so if the space used by the file hasn't been over-written, you should be able to recover the file. I've used PC Inspector File Recovery in the past to recover files from a "dead" hard disk, so you might want to give that a shot. The last version I had was a trial copy where you couldn't copy files, so I kept having to tell my system to open files with Notepad and copy the contents of the file by the time it actually opened, then create a new file and paste these contents into it and rename it. Anyway, it looks like they've made the whole program freeware now, so that might be able to help you.
