edwindelahiggins
Do the directions posted in the ea mods link work for the wireless adapter? If I delete the controller config and follow the instructions should it work?
dgutierrez32
tdebidyal, I have the same problem. Throw to third with Y, throw to second with left button. Weird.
Yama
Yeah, having problems here as well. I followed the step by step and it still doesn't work right. What is the verdict, can it work near flawless or not?
dgutierrez32
On XP, yes (except for the quick pickoff move). On Vista, I don't think so. I gave up trying to make it work and bought a logitech dual action.

I'm proboably going to get two Dual Actions as well, seems so much easier. However for now, I would like to know how to make it work on XP, which is what I'm running. Any help would be appreciated. upops
How can this be reconfigured so that depressing the left joystick doesn't pause the game. I can get used to most of the other buttons (changing fielders is a bit odd) but constantly hitting timeout is getting pretty annoying. I am having the same EXACT problem. I am using the Wireless Xbox 360 controller, windows vista. When I depress the left joystick it pauses the game....How do you get around this? 47PedroFilipe
I use that controller on windows XP. Works fine.. And the pickoff moves, intent walk, is all there. do you want my controller configuration?
upops
so when you depress the left joystick it doesn't pause the game? Sure let me look at your config. Also do you have to install the XBCD drivers? The Microsoft ones seem to work fine for me except for the left joystick thing pausing the game. Borgi
kraw, those thinks didnt work for me, its no big deal i bought a PC dual shock one, but i have xbox one and was curious to try it out
slartibartfast
Hi . . . I had the XBCD drivers installed, and they worked exceedingly well, but they don't work very well with Madden - if down on the left analog is 0d, when I tried to move to multiples of 45d, everything got reeeal sluggish. So I junked the XBCD drivers and went to the microsoft drivers. Now Madden is flawless and I've got all the problems people have been talking about with the microsoft drivers. So what I'm wondering is, is there someway to make one set of drivers work with both games? And here's my controller.cfg (I've been tinkering with it for a couple hours) profile= XBOX_360_For_Windows_(Controller) device= XBOX_360_For_Windows_(Controller) player= 1 number_of_buttons= 10 number_of_povs= 1 number_of_axis= 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_START= button 7 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_SELECT= button 8 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_CROSS= button 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_CIRCLE= button 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_SQUARE= button 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_TRIANGLE= button 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L1= button 9 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R1= button 10 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L2= button 6 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R2= button 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L3= axis- 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R3= axis+ 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_UP= pov0 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_DOWN= pov180 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_LEFT= pov270 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_RIGHT= pov90 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_UP= axis+ 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_DOWN= axis- 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 5 VPAD_PITCH_1= button 1 VPAD_PITCH_2= button 2 VPAD_PITCH_3= button 3 VPAD_PITCH_4= button 4 VPAD_PITCH_5= button 5 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_FIRST= button 2 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_SECOND= button 4 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_THIRD= button 3 VPAD_PITCH_OUT= button 5 VPAD_THROW_BALL= axis+ 3 VPAD_INTENTIONAL_WALK= axis+ 3 VPAD_INTENTIONAL_HITBATTER= button 10 VPAD_PITCH_HISTORY_OPEN= button 9 VPAD_SWING_NORMAL= button 1 VPAD_SWING_BUNT= button 9 VPAD_CHARGE_MOUND= button 5 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_FIRST= button 2 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_SECOND= button 4 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_THIRD= button 3 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_HOME= button 1 VPAD_FIELD_SWITCH= button 5 VPAD_FIELD_RELAY_THROW= button 6 VPAD_FIELD_CUTOFF_THROW= button 6 VPAD_FIELD_FAKE_RUNDOWN_THROW= button 6 VPAD_RUNNER_FIRST_SELECT= button 2 VPAD_RUNNER_SECOND_SELECT= button 4 VPAD_RUNNER_THIRD_SELECT= button 3 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNFIRST= pov90 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNSECOND= pov0 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNTHIRD= pov270 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNHOME2SCORE= pov180 1 VPAD_BASERUNNER_ADVANCEALL= button 5 VPAD_BASERUNNER_RETREATALL= button 6 *EDIT* I've messed with the start/select button, L/R trigger assignments. The links from kraw's site here http://www.eamods.com/index.php?name=Forum...+360+controller Don't work anymore.
HardcoreLegend
Can you simply just throw it to the cutoff man using the 360 controller? Is that even an option in MVP or do you have to throw to a base and THEN hit the cutoff button?
SESbb30
i think you can throw to a cutoff man. i know you can throw to a base then cut it off.
HardcoreLegend
Yes, I know you can throw to a base and cut it off. What I am saying is throw it directly to the cutoff man, no matter where he is located.
SESbb30
you can throw straight to the cutoff man.
BrooklynNets24
yea i throw it straight to the cut off most of the time
