D-Unit Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 when you are young, it is so much easier to throw with both hands. for example, don mattingly always threw righty. but one day he threw a ball lefty much farther than he ever threw righty, so he stuck with throwing lefty. then he went on to become one of the greatest first basemen of all time. JaFFiTh Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Meh, I bat right, throw right..special ain't i I used to switch hit but i haven't played in a while and tried hitting with my left side the other yesterday..eventually I couldn't hit anything so I guess i lost my left side.
