wretched
I didn't know that until I played a game today vs. the Mariners. Skies were dark and during the 1st inning I saw raindrops even though I didn't believe so. As the game progressed the rain got heavier... I thought this game would be rained out but then the roof started closing! It took about three innings and when it completely closed it was raining cats and dogs outside. HardcoreLegend
Really? I had no idea that such a thing worked. Does it work in Houston?
Yankee4Life
I have never seen this happen in the game yet. That's pretty nice to hear.
HardcoreLegend
I have never seen this happen in the game yet. That's pretty nice to hear. Yeah, cause I'd love to find a way to close it completely all the time.
Sean O
Yeah, cause I'd love to find a way to close it completely all the time. It's funny, after all my stadium modding, I never bothered to look to see what made that happen at Safeco. I'll take a look at it sometimes, and if it's something that can apply to all the parks, then we're in business. I wouldn't hold out too much hope though, as I'd guess Safeco's the only one that can handle it, so Skydome and Minute Maid are SOL.
HardcoreLegend
Yeah, well..I was also hoping for Minuite Maid to close up, since they played every home game since July that way.

NYYKing
well, they only followed the rule that when it's under 80 degrees and weather is nice, the roof would be open. During the NLCS, it was above 80 degrees.
AstroEric
I'd be happy (MVP wise) with just an option for the roof to be closed all the time. --Eric

AstroEric
Well, there is a program called O-Edit. --Eric
Kccitystar
The Roof.o file is the design for Safeco's roof. A new roof MAY be possible to assign to another stadium, but you'd have to recreate the values on the .csv files... *sigh* I dunno, I'm just shootin some theories here. -KC
