deadballfan
1. Are you sure the .dat files are in the datadatabase subfolder in your MVP 2005 game install folder? 2. Did you remember that they're in Class A? The Minors level can be changed in the Select team screen above the team logos with the double arrows (left-right). Starts at MLB by default, needs to say "A" and then you may need to scroll through teams (up-down arrows) as the changes only affect 8 of the 30. 3. If the logos.big or 2 .loc files are not in the right spot, you would see the original team names and logos even though the WBC players are in there. Try the Stockton Ports (Class A of Oakland A's). They should be Team USA I and Chris Carpenter would be the #1 starter if the rosters are there. If it's not one of those and you can open the mbe in MVP Edit, try using the "Export DAT files" option from the File menu to try and install it that way. The target folder is MVP Baseballdatadatabase. Be careful, MVP Edit likes to default to data. Even after that, you need to copy the logos.big and the .loc files to where they need to go for names and logos to show up correctly.
