baseballfans
I think we can sticky this threat where people can post their no hitter or great game performace. Randy overpower the World Champion WhiteSox 27 up and 27 down Baseball immortality I received my reward Points so this is 100% legitimate. Althouth is Pro Level it is still PERFECTO and maybe this is a hint that my NY Yankees will once again return to the WS in 2006.
ixcuincle
wow! 6050 points in one game! the most I've ever gotten in one game is probably 400 - 600 ish , congratulations
SwinginSoriano
When I ever pitch a perfect game again, I'll make sure to make a whole new topic about it! :p
TheNateGBent
Perfect games are weird, I always get it with a bad pitcher. With Randy, a perfect game isn't completely new. I had ones with Rodrigo Lopez, Bedard, Cabrera and Penn (2007, baby!)

Sean O
I just don't know why there's a new post about this every other day. In the very first game I played in MVP I pitched a perfect game while talking on the phone with my girlfriend the entire time against the Yankees. I know people are excited, but unless it's on MVP... may not be worth another whole thread about it. But, that's just me.
fuzzone
yeah i agree with sean-o. pitching perfect games is so overrated unless it's on mvp. you do it on mvp, then i applaud you. I've only done it about 6 times and thats with mvp 2005 and total classics 2005. 2005 NYY Mussina 2005 NYM Martinez 2005 MIN Radke (twice) 1973 CAA Ryan 1988 LAD Hershieser

And if U guy did it post it here. Love to see some screen shot because is really an accomplishment especially if u did it in MVP mode.
Dead_Monkey_Z
I'm jealous. After 3 years and putting 194 games against the comp. this year, I still haven't had one on All Star. I got a ton of 1 hitters though.
ixcuincle
neither have I. it's extremely difficult for me even on pro , when I played on rookie setting I had 3 straight no-hitters going into the 5th inning against the Mets but eventually they got a hit...then again I play on my uncomfortable laptop keyboard :(
Sandlot
I know I can throw one on pro. The closest i've come on MVP level is 7 perfect innings.
uspdude
to be honest, pitching is way too easy in this game, i can easily pitch a less than 6 hits shut-out even in MVP level. that's why i mess around with the slider to get more "healthy looking" stats. I set my slider something like.. Pitching control -50, Pitching difficulty 50, Fault ball freq. 50 CPU offence (30 both of em) MVP fielding Now my stats are much more healty looking, my pitchers' ERA range are between 2.5 to 7ish, and sometime i can even walked the batter. However, I still need to figure out about my pitcher's fatigue level on the slider, trying be as realistic as possible.
Schrades
UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE!!!! I finally got MVP going again thanks to about a billion different virus and spyware programs.....I haven't lost the touch after a month without playing. 6th game since the return and Ben Sheets is on the hill. August 26th of 2006, 2nd year of my dynasty. I had a perfecto with 11K's going into the 11th. I was phsyced. Never had a no-no or perfecto. Rookie gets a leadoff hit in the 9th...I'm up 2-0 by the way... Then an error scores a run with the tying run on 3rd. Lidge (trade) frantically geting ready in the pen. Sheets gets griffey the pinch hitter to pop up. Next batter Alex Cintron's 47 power goes YAYA to walk off....UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE....amazing how one can love and hate a game at the same time. Also a perfecto is quite an accomplishment by my standards....All-star difficulty...-50 pitcher control...no strike zone...no cursor...no hot cold....no vibration...no nothing....and about 300 games under the belt with a perfecto...and it was fairly realistic cause I had great D, and Sheets is a stud, and the D-backs are 29th in offense this year....o well
Schrades
WOW again....next game..I give up a 2 run bomb in the bottom of the 8th to go down 5-3, frustrations are maxed out....but I have the meat of the order coming up....Weeks leads off and gets robbed..then Lee with a weak ground out....Fielder with a base hit up the middle...then Kearns walks on 7 pitches...next up the Catcher Yadier Molina...3 HR's on the year....first pitch takes a 99 mph Aquino heater outta the yard for the win. (lidge closed) my this game is awesome
