The_Jerk
I've been using MVP Edit since it was released with no problems, but suddenly now when I attempt to start it up, I get an installation message about something called "Smart SOund QuickTracks plug-in." I read the other message in the FAQ list about the missing files, and downloaded that fix, but it didn't do anything. Anyone else experience this problem and figure out how to fix it? big shmooz
I never heard of this, but a quick obvious way to troubleshoot this is, what have you installed on your computer since the last time MVPEdit worked properly. (not just mvp stuff)
The_Jerk
just a couple of games, ultimate spiderman, xman legends. Its just kind of weird because I heven't really been using this computer in a while, because I got a laptop last month and have primarily been using it. I haven't really used MVP Edit since the summer, and I'm trying to update some things now and get into playing again.
DYosua
It's really strange that you get an error like that - SmartSound is a program for TV production music (there are a number of tracks and you set a desired length and it creates an edit). The "QuickTracks" are SmartSound's sample tracks; they are usually bundled with a number of video editing programs, including Adobe Premiere. I have no idea how that could be tied to MVPEdit. Perhaps you could try uninstalling/reinstalling MVPEdit?
The_Jerk
Yeah I tried uninstalling it all and reinstalling different versions, and just got the same problem. I also searched for the thing on google and found a few sites advertising programs which involve it, and a few french forums about similar problems with no solutions. It doesnt seem like anything Ive ever heard of or would be related to anything Ive installed. I do have Adobe Photoshop, and have had it for several years, but Ive never had anything to do with Adobe Premiere.
