hbk4life56
Is it possible to change everything in the game that says 2005 to 2006?
NYYKing
i'm sure that can be managed (other than maybe the intro video) but I don't think that's something we should be concerned with. More important are things like roster updating, having the new Busch Stadium modded, new schedule etc.
PeoplesWar
Also, making the game's time to be 2006, meaning the ages should be advanced a year for all the players.
SwinginSoriano
For the rosters, I just move the birthdates back by a year. Two years for 04.
AstroEric
I could fiddle around with some of the graphics to make them say 2006, I suppose, because I won't be good at anything else, probably. --Eric
smart88
is there anyway to make the schedule say 2006 instead of 2005
xiberger
is there anyway to make the schedule say 2006 instead of 2005 Friedman is currently working on the schedule for 2006: http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=15681.html
UncleMo
Also, the sound at the intro "MVP 2005"

In the download section Trues has a mod that bypasses all the intro videos. I have that and I haven't seen those videos in months. And I don't miss them either. hbk4life56
The rosters and schedules are almost sure things though. Stuff like the graphics just makes the game all that more realistic.
charge8sr
well, i have nascar racing 2003 by papyrus, they lost thier license to EA Sports years ago, but its by far the best racing game ever for PC, a true sim. the physics are perfect. its amazing. anyways, its so good there are around 200 websites that post everything from updates of cars to new game and menu graphics, like if it was nascar 2005 racing, so, it CAN be done. by the way, does anyone know of a website that has mods for NHL 06? and, im trying to learn how to work on stadiums, change them. what do i do, i have all the programs. Hory
The intro video could actually be changed some day... not that it really matters.. I actually made an intro video for Total classics but I was never able to convert it to a working format - kraw had a link to decode the intro video but I haven't seen anything yet able to encode a working intro video but someday it'll happen
Yankee4Life
Probably the only thing that can't be done is taking out that idiot Krukow and his "big boy" comments. Kuiper is better than Krukow.
charge8sr
man, the rockies guy is awsome, i laugh every time, but, back to my other question, i wanna work on stadiums, i have all the programs i need to do it, plus 3ds max 7 and psp 8. can someone point me to a tutorial? i wanna help. Sean O
Look for Pirate's Oedit tutorial in the FAQ, that will tell you everything you need to start modding. Apart from that, you just need a boatload of patience and the desire to stare at a screen for hours and hours on end. It is extremely difficult to make any progress at first. Sean O
http://www.mvpmods.com/faq/index.php?actio...d=15&artlang=en That has everything you need. follow it step-by-step and you'll be able to get somewhere. It helps to have MVP open and alt-tab in and out of the game, update the file, then check it inside the game. But everything is in there. Take my advice, as someone who had to learn all this without any help, the only way you're going to get anywhere is if you just dive in and do it. Following the tutorial will give you a beginning, but you will need to learn to work through problems. If you have to post on the forums with every issue you face, you'll never get anywhere. Give it time, and be patient, and you'll get there.
