jim416
Okay, I put in all the portrait files, the face packs, data file and used the MVP editor to do some roster adjustments (latest trades) and saved it as the in game default roster. I forgot to install the patch. If I install the patch what files do I need to backup so that I don't lose some of the things I did (like my roster update)? jim416
Okay...There are two folders. A DATA folder and a DATA BASE folder. There appears to be rosters in each one of them. Which one is the exe file? thanks.
big shmooz
The roster is located in the database folder. If you have a roster in the data folder you might as well delete it since it does nothing for you. The .exe file is in the main mvp baseball 2005 folder. It's called "mvp05.exe". krawhitham
do not backup the EXE file, the patch will upgrade the EXE file. if you back it up, and the restore after the patch you will see no difference in the game
