Bdhtexas
I am new to MVP2005... I have a huge problem, I am way too good for Rookie (19-1) and not good enough for Pro (8-12). I am way too anxious at the plate and swing at almost every pitch. I think because I've played so many Softball games. I have no problems pitching. I can paint the corners, keep the ball low and keep batters off balance. I am a pitcher in Softball and this is what I do when I pitch. I have problems stealing 2nd, I can never do it, if I want to steal I have to Manage it. I have problems throwing out runners. On Pro, my home runs drop dramatically. I can bunt well, but sometimes my lead runner will get thrown out. Anyone have any Sliders to help me out. Do I need Rookie or Pro sliders? Thanks. mrmariner
If you play on rookie/pro check out the Bigunit's sliders in the misc download section, its a good starting point. The thing about sliders is everyones playing ability is different so there is not just one setting that is perfect for everyone. Do some research on datafiles, they really enhance the game play. There are alot to choose from and would recommend trying a few to find the one you like. You have to be patient at the plate, you can't swing at everything. I normally take the first pitch which most of the time is a ball.
