EA Roster Update Available Now

The roster is updated 11/16/05

It is also available for PS2 online and Xbox live!!!

Apparently there is another one to be released before the end of the year.

The update contains all of the players that appeared during the mlb 2005 season including several rookies. Some of the rookies are even found on the AA level. Obviously the non-mlb players still have fake names.

whats the point? We already have Ultimate Rosters, and that EA patch probably has all those fake players. but nice of EA to put one out.

It's nice when you play online to have updated rosters.

One thing I noticed is that importing the roster into MVP EDIT does not work with the current patch. I remember this happened last year due to changes in the patch.

or it could be just to confuse thoose who use a no-cd exe crack

mvpedit dies when it tries to load the attrib.dat file

What the hell, they didn't even assign new ids for the rookies.....

well this would be the problem with MVPedit

data fields have been reordered

the EXE changes might be for that if soI do not think a roster downloaded from here will work after you install this patch.

but this would stop any console conversions it Rglass releases a new MVPedit and totte goes with the patch4 format

how do i get this to work? I try to dl it and get error message "old file not found", i know there is a way to fix with the cd exe but how do we do it again?

You need to look for the original roster files located in the roster section here on the site, at least you do if you are using a different roster. EA "patches" require the original files. Good luck with this patch...Im still looking for more responses.

submitted by me, also lets say these were how EA did their rosters in 06 u would all have to adjust anyway

I kinda lost respect for EA. They really don't support their mod community at all. And this patch is just another kick in the face.
