Pickoff speed

I want to increase the pickoff speed because I think its too slow. I never in my life picked of f someone. When you pick off a player the speed of the ball is too slow and when it gets there the player is at the bag. I was playing mvp 04 a couple days ago and the pickoff ball speed is fine.

I was able to increase the speed that the ball travels over to 1st. In fact I think it's set at around 65-70mph and I upped it to 100mph just to see what happens. The bad news is that it makes no difference to the number of pickoffs you get, the ball goes whizzing over there at 100mph, and the guy gets back everytime...I've managed one pickoff in 300+games.

I've since put it back to normal because it didn't work and looked stupid.

i picked off a total of 5 guys in the entire 162 game season I just finished. Brandon Duckworth was the luckiest with two pickoffs in one game. That in itself should be MVP points.

Wow, that's quite an achievement.

I think it might be worth editing the pitchers "pickoff" number up to 100 for all of your pitchers...at least then you might see a few. It certainly didn't work when I increased the speed of the ball.

it dosn't work with the 100 either. I think it depends on the windup
