Smuggly
 Can anyone answer these two questions PLEASE? I have serched and also have asked in each forum for mvp2005 and no one as answered these questions for me. Is there any way to remove the black bpx behind the words like foulball and out and all that popup when you hit a foul or make a strike or out. The other question is can you eliminate the fireworks or at least the sound bites for them? I am an old gesser (65)that loves this game and have modified a lot of things in the game but can't do these two things so any help or answer will be great even if it can't be done i would like to know. Emil
I don't know, but I think it can be editet kinda the same way overlays are edited.
medric822
I'm not sure about that, you'll have to ask uncle Mo, or someone else like him.
MarkB
I'm petty sure they all could be done, but I'm not too sure how. I know the fireworks could be edited just by replacing the fireworks image in the individual stadium files and now that the audio has been cracked, it should be easy enough to replace the audio too. Smokin_Joe
Is there any way to remove the black box behind the words like foulball and out and all that popup when you hit a foul or make a strike or out. I searched and this is the thread i came up with so...can the blackbox and the word Foul be removed completely? I hate when it comes up and the overlay disappears for a sec. It might do it when a strike out is made too, i'm not sure. If anyone knows please tell.
Smuggly
You have to extract the ingameov.fsh file using eagraph editor then use fsh editor to export the following files as 24-bit + alpha.bmp. bkf0 thru bfk02 and btfo thru btf4 also blb0 thru blb02 then using Paint shop pro make sure both files are the same by increasing the color to 8-bit (paintshop pro 10) and not gray scale then make all bmp pictures black for transparent and then using fsh editor import then back into the ingameov.fsh file and save it and then using biggui or egraph import the ingameov back into the igonly.big and the box will be gone./ you can use loclook to remove all the words that show up like foul and such. if you don't want the mph or ball speed from showing up let me know and I can edit the mvp2005.exe file and then upload it. UncleMo
Do you guys need to know how to remove the homer sfx? Look into the audio.csv file, right now can't remember where that file is, but inside of that file is a spreadsheet for you to edit, I believe. The file may be named something like hmrsfx.csv, or sfx.csv. Not sure.

Smokin_Joe
Well I got the foul popup and all black boxes to disappear. I want to get rid of the 'Out' popup too but it seems i can't without losing it on the overlay so i guess i'll live with it. The overlay still slides away when i hit a foul so i'm guessing there is nothing i can do about that but it's a lot better. I used nfshtool and photoshop after i extracted the file with eagraph, went pretty smooth.
Smuggly
If you delete the out using loclook then use the programs that will let you open the pitchsle.fsh as 24-bit + alpha bit and type in the bmp file that shows the colors, not the alpha one and put the word OUT in the same place it appears now. Will not work if you change your overlays at other stadiums unless you do the same for all the pitchsle.fsh file
