bpstein
Hi, I wanted to ask if there is any way to speed up a game in MVP 2005 so that it plays faster onscreen. My friends and I like to set up all-CPU MVP 2005 games so that we can watch them unfold with every at-bat (rather than simming them), but I was wondering if there is a way that we can watch them in a sped-up fashion. Right now, the only thing we know to do is to hit the spacebar to jump to the next play or pitch! Thanks! Ben
Sandlot
Theres no specific way to speed up the game, but you can turn off replays, check swings, and stuff like that.

pdub
I have a way that can speed the actual gameplay up a bit. It speeds up the whole speed of the game. Set your refresh rate to 70 for whatever resolution you play the game with. The pitches will come faster, the batter will swing faster and all animations speed up, but its watchable. I used to play this way till I couldn't hit any fastball in the 90's unless I guessed its location right.
Gordo
Maybe, but changing some monitor refresh rate can cause some instability and even your monitor to fry. You need to be careful with these settings.
