AstroEric
Anyone ever had an error called on their catcher for letting the bunt roll foul? 'Cause I just did and it stinks. --Eric
saxemachine
Nothing with my catcher like that, but I've been called for an error for not making a play to first on a ground ball. So yea, I guess its possible.
cybernetic
the worst for me was a home run ruled an error and the guy scored but it wasn't ruled a hit in the box score or an RBI. I also got a homer off the foul pole ruled a fair catch and the batter was out.

jonalano013
well, yesterday i was playing with the Yankees against the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park, and when Cano came up i hit a high chopper that went over the 1st baseman's head and landed in fair territory. After that, it rolled into foul territory, and their right fielder never moved from where he was standing. So i just kept running and got wat i thought was an inside the park hr. then i check the scorebox, it said i only had a single. -jon-
JP_Frost
I hate it when I hit a ball against the wall and the fielder doesn't really play it right off the wall and it's ruled an error instead of a double/triple. Also, bunt singles are usually scored as sac bunts.

JP_Frost
I guess it depends on the bunt; with a drag bunt it counts as a single ( even though they're hard to pull off ), but with a push bunt, they don't count it as a single. If you look at the at bats history it will say "runner 3rd out"
ataris812
Yeah the other day I hit one off the wall and after it hit the wall it was misplayed. My guy ended up scoring, but it was ruled an error and he wasn't even credited with a base hit, muchless a double which it should have been. tom-nyy-26
ive had something like that. sheffield was batting (i was NYY against CWS at Yankee stadium), he hit a dribbler to first base. the ball went about half the distance between home plate and the bag, konerko ran over to glove the ball (it would have been a sure out). however, he didnt pick the ball up (he almost ran over it) then left the ball and stood in foul territory until sheffield reached first...once sheffield had reached first the pitcher ran over to get the ball it was odd but i scored a run off it :D
