Tweaker Posted December 5, 2005 Share Posted December 5, 2005 Hi everyone I have an issue with MVP 2005, seems like my players are constantly sliding into first base! Even when the hit should be at least a double, the player almost 90% of the time slides into first instead of continuing to second. Anyone have a fix for this, would be most appreciated. Do you then press anything on your controller? Describe step by step exactly what you do. Tweaker Posted December 5, 2005 Author Share Posted December 5, 2005 Actually nothing, just sometimes I press to advance the runner when I notice the ball is hit for extra bases. I checked my controller in the control panel and noticed that the right stick of my controller sticks sometimes to one side. I tried to set it but when I move it from side to side, sometimes it just sits to one side. I have the Logitech dual action controller. Thanks! it's definitely controller-related problems. i had the same problem with my Recoil controller so i went out and bought $25 NYKO AIRFLO Controller. it's the probably the best controller u can get out there for such a cheap price. medric822 Posted December 5, 2005 Share Posted December 5, 2005 Ok, here's what may help. This happens to me sometimes, and here's what you can do. After you start the game, unplug the controller, then re-plug it. You'll loose vibration, but it'll work. Good Luck, and remember, If at first you dont suceed, try for second next time!
