WatchdogXC
I've been playing MVP for Xbox since release date and love it. With the 2006 mod being worked on, I have to have that! I'm going to pick up the PC version if it will run decent on my laptop that I have. I don't care if it looks fantastic or anything, but it would be nice to look as good as my Xbox version or the Gamecube 2004 version I have. Processor Intel Pentium M 1600MHz Display Card Intel® Mobile 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Family Memory 512MB Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Free Disk Space 22.59GB Display Card Memory 128MB Display Driver Version 6.14.10.3992 DirectX Version 9.0c Optical Drive CD/DVD Sound Card SoundMAX Digital Audio Would it work out ok with that? I checked the games advisor and it said it would run MVP 2004 ok, but didn't say anything about graphics card.
Jim825
I run MVP2005 on my laptop from work (I play when I'm traveling). Here are the specs: Processor Intel Pentium M 1500MHz Display Card ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 Memory 512MB Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Display Card Memory 32 MB Display Driver Version 6.14.0010.6392 DirectX Version 9.0b MVP2005 runs fine. The images have low detail, but the game itself plays fine for me. The game used1.45 Gb of hard disk space, and that was with a full install. I would expect that you should be able to run the game with no problems on your laptop.
Gige56
From what I m seeing by the last too people, there should be no problem with either of you two running the game on the laptop. The only thing I would like to point out is that is the RAM is a tad low to run the game at peak performance.Granted I have a 1 GByte memory chip in my computer and the game is outstanding on my laptop. Granted I also have a ATI 9600 Mobility which its display is a 128 MB chip and AMD atholon XP 64 processor.
ixcuincle
Agreed. It should work... the only question I have is the video card. If it's not ATI or Nvidia it might not work. I'm not sure though. My sister's laptop had some wacky intel integrated 128 MB card and the Sims 2 crashed repeatedly on it...so... My specs are some Nvidia GeForce 4 420 Go 32 MB card , 512 mb and 1.4 ghz centrino processor , and it works fine enough for me.
Veesmack
It should work even with a not so good card. The question is whether or not you can run the game with high resolution player graphics. You can even bypass that by using a graphics program called 3D Analyze
WatchdogXC
Thanks guys, I'll have to go track down a copy and check it out then. I'd like it to look as good as possible, but I can live with it as long as it plays well. I may end up getting a new desktop next year as well anyways and I want to play MVPMods MVP 06.
