MVP Edit *sigh*

I tell you, I've had the worst luck ever with MVP Edit.

I mean, it's an awesome program, but it's so dang buggy!

Here's my problem... I open the program, click import, select MVP Baseball 2005/data/database, save the new filename in the MVP Edit folder, and then I get this error,

"runtime error '3163':

The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attemted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data."

Any help? Please?

Eep...problems on the horizon. I've not used it, so I can't advise on how to solve it, but if you can get hold of the original mvp2005.exe from the CD and the original database files, I would hope you could just overwrite the newer patch 4 files and run the last patch before it that you want to use.

I actually had to install that attrib.dat patch also. I just got MVPedit for the first time today. I have UR 5.0 Standard Edition Rosters and Comerica Park modded. Other than that vanilla install of the game with no updates performed unless it does it automatically

I have been using MVPedit for a while now, but I just ran into a slight problem... for some reason when I open it up, none of the play portraits show up, it just says, "no pictures found" I checked the options and the only things that are not checked are export 2X..... thanks guys...
