UncleMo
I need to get the phrase "DAY O" to sound as if the crowd in a stadium is saying that. I can record my voice and maybe add a special effect to make it sound like an entire crowd is doing that instead of just me if you can suggest an editing utility that does exactly that. Can anyone assist? I'm currently working on an audio mod where I have Harry Belafonte saying "DAAAAAAAAAY-O" but I need to add a crowd's response after that if someone can assist me. If not my mod will not be the same. If you would like to hear a preview of what I have done so far I would post it tonight, just say so. aNY HELP? Sandlot
Do you guys know of any audio editor that changes the voice of the singer? My friend has one but I can't download it. I want something really to cool to edit my songs.

Veesmack
I also use Goldwave as Yankee4Life suggested. It's a great program and have been using for about four years now for all my audio needs. It's easy to use.

UncleMo
Guys, are you sure Goldwave can do what I want it to do? I dl'd the demo, but I don't know how to get a voice to sound like a stadium is saying DAAAAAAAY O! I know there is the echo feature, but it is the same feature as sound recorder. Any comments on this?

UncleMo
song, banana boat. "daylight come and me want go home" Harry Belafonte. there are times where on the PA they just play a portion of the song where they say" "DAAAAAAAAAY-O" and then the entire stadium shouts it back. That is where I need help. Getting maybe a crowd sound effect, not the echo effect but I need to know where I can get a crowd sound effect. AstroEric
I'll mess around with Cool Edit Pro and see what I can do. Barring that, you may have to record yourself saying DAY-O 5,000 times. --Eric
UncleMo
well how is this so far. This is DAY-O and the crowd saying MAGGLIO. Sounds very similar, no? http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RSBZ1RG5
UncleMo
This is what I've been trying to achieve: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8SWLJD3A Now the problem may come when I convert this .wav file back to .asf, sometimes in the game the sound sounds distorted like a broken record. Any hints ahead of time would be great. If not lets see how it goes.
