patsfan
OK, this is weird...here's what happened: I have MVP running on a laptop, and I was simming a game. I went to half-close the laptop, but went too far with it, causing it to begin to go into sleep mode. I quickly grabbed the screen and pulled it back up....but now, the game runs like it's in full-screen mode, with black bars surrounding it at all sides ( I have a widescreen laptop, and the game always filled out the screen). I tried adjusting the video settings within the game and got nowhere. I just finished with a fresh re-install, and no luck there either. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thanks for the help!
krawhitham
should be a setting in the video card settings to use the full screen MVP does not support widescreen, but some video cards (and monitors my dell 2005 does it) will stretch to take up the full screen there is also a thread somewhere here to hex edit the exe to stretch the game if you video card or monitor will not do it for you
patsfan
Still no luck, there was nowhere on the video card to mess with the ratio settings. I'll look into that hex edit thread but I don't know if I want to mess with it...we'll see. If anyone has any other advice I'd appreciate it. Thanks! pdub
I don't know...do what you did to mess it up, maybe it'll fix it. There should be a setting on your laptop lcd for stretching the image or not.
