I got it! I got it! Finally.

The thing that was driving me the most nuts in Classic Yankee (the disappearing right field light standard) I've finally got fixed. I think it's really made right field look kind of powerful. Quick pic of Dimaggio connecting of Denny Galehouse of the *1942* :D St. Louis Browns. (Update - that's Ben Oglivie now of my very own home town Milwaukee Brewers)

I want to work on the cameras a little bit and I'm pretty sure I can get the screen in center back up and be non-disappearing. Stay tuned if your interested.

Another thing I'd love to change is the seam in center field, I think where the wall meets the dimension marker wall, since it seems like you can see through it a bit from the batter's view.

As for Ebbets, I wish I had more energy or less projects, because I would love to do my own remix of paul / hyman's Ebbets to fix the left field corner, bleachers, and right field upper deck. But, that won't happen for some time now.

Hi Sean!! I'll look at that seam. I am also still spinning around in my head some ways to get all of the pillars in Yankee.

*Mr.* Diabase - I don't plan much more on Ebbets but there's more that could be done as Sean mentioned. BTW - I don't think the Ebbets that's in there is the last one - we had so many versions that I've gotten confused.

I've got the center field screen in and have tested things and neither the screen nor the right field lights disappear. Look at the pic in the first post. I'm probably going to release this tomorrow and then put Yankee away. Time to do some more roster updating and bring those *'42* Browns :D:D in to beat up on the Yanks.

I fixed my pillars bug yesterday night and now have about 20 pillars in. This is as far as I can go. There's 2 little bugs I want to fix and then the *final* version of Classic Yankee will be released.

BTW - Since credit seems to be an issue in another forum right now I want to once again thank SeanO for all his work with Yankee - he really, REALLY helped to take this whole thing to a new level. He's a modding machine! Also, I will always be grateful to my OEdit guru, Hyman.

Peace on Earth, everyone!

Sorry for beeing a partypooper, but did they have that kind of light technoligy (sp) in 1942?

This rendition of Yankee is actually a 1950's version. I think the first lights were put in sometime in the late 1930's. I'd have to look it up to be exact.

I was wondering why you mentioned 1942, but now I see I mentioned the 1942 St. Louis Browns earlier. They're just THE team :D:D:D I was playing with against the Yankees when I took the snap shot.

Actually the picture now has the '82 Brewers in it. It's a long story...

Man, you know you don't need to thank me again for the work, I should be thanking you. Working on Classic Yankee has been a freaking dream, and I can't believe how well it turned out. As someone who paradoxically loves old Yankee Stadium as much as I dislike the team, to see it turn out as well as it did is truly incredible. I wish we could only do that for every old park, then we'd be set.
