bpstein
Hi Everyone, Thanks to MVPEdit and the great resources on this website, my friends and I have successfully started a stovepipe fantasy league in which we have moved our favorite players to 5 teams and have them play each other in exhibition mode. Once we set the lineups, we use the CPU to control both teams. Strangely, the CPU has been putting starting pitchers (like AJ Burnett and John Smoltz) in the bullpen, even though we have designated them as starters in our rotations (and of course, they are designated as starting pitchers in the rosters, which come from a very recent version of Ultimate Rosters). This happens when one of the teams gets in trouble before the 5th inning. Starters sometimes appear in the bullpen even when we take them out of our rotations. Any way to solve this? Thanks! medric822
um.... other than manually taking over their team, by switching controolers in the pause menu, and changing it to yuor likings, no. In doing that, you'll loose all MVP points.
bpstein
Right, I should have thought of just pausing the game and changing the bullpen to what we want! We don't care about MVP Points, but till now, we've been avoiding any sort of intervention after we set up our lineups and starting pitchers. Doing what you suggest makes sense. Is this some sort of glitch in the game engine or the CPU AI? I mean, the real Joe Torre or Jim Tracy would only put a starter in the bullpen very rarely, not every game as it's been happening to us!
