hefalumps
You know if he's joining the Yankees he's gonna have to lose the hair. All of it. I wonder if he'll have to cut it off before the press conference? Hopefully some of the talented face-modders will be willing to take on this project in the near future. If I recall, his default 2004 face was "clean", but I have no idea if MVP2004 and MVP2005 faces are compatible.
Kccitystar
I'll be re-doing his face...somehow, but I'm guessing he'll keep the long hair somehow, cuz I'm not gonna be able to remove it.

AstroEric
You could chalk the long-hair, bearded Damon up to the past, and give him all new numbers and what-not. That'd get rid of the hair, right? --Eric
bpstein
Yes, the hair is going to go. It looks like he's working at it right now:

SwinginSoriano
Guys, he only had the 'hair' for two years of his career. Damon looking like the Damon of the Royals isn't that shocking. OMG so shocking! Couldn't imagine him looking like that... Where's the hair!?!?! I hate Damon's hair, it was all a part of his 'image' so he could be really overrated again. I guess it worked, he's making 52 million and will be pretty much useless in two years. Just to think Pedro F-ing Martinez got that much and he actually could carry a team. Damn, Damon is ripped... medric822
when you join the Yankees, the Yanks owner makes you be cklean cut/shaven, or clean out your locker.

JoeRudi26
when you join the Yankees, the Yanks owner makes you be cklean cut/shaven, or clean out your locker. I'd cut my hair for 52 mil.
ataris812
Yeah he did cut his beard for charity once. Damon losing his hair and beard reminds me of when Giambi went to the Yankees from Oakland. The saddest hair chopping of all time though has to be the departure of the sweet mullet from Randy Johnson's noggin.

SwinginSoriano
Its the most ridiculous rule I've ever heard of. Too bad Willie copied it. The only thing he allows are mustaches (wonder why) and Pedro's greasy hair.

Guessing t6hat was sarcasm but he allows moustaches for two reasons: 1) Torre allows mustaches 2)He has one.

HardcoreLegend
The clean cut/shaven rule is a good one. If you've ever been a coach, it's not so much about the appearence but the fact that everyone is dedicated to one idea, one look. Look like proffesionals, act like proffesionals. seanzarelli
As I'm a Red Sox fan, it makes me mad that Johnny went to the Yanks, just because of the rivalry. However, for the extra $12 million offered, I would do the same. It will just take some time getting used to seeing him like that. The question I wanna know is, and the wrestling fans here, will Johnny be allowed to take part in any "Wrestling Fiasco's" (TNA) anymore? HAHA!
