rossmac7
anyone know where I can find decent audio of the play by play announcers online. I wanted to play around with the aduio and see if I can get the announcers to say the new stadiums ie Rogers Centre instead of SkyDome. I just need a clip of someone saying it first. Thanks
ixcuincle
www.mlb.com If you are talking about Duane Kiper and Mike Krukow they do TV / Radio play by play for the San Francisco Giants. You can subscribe to mlb.tv for a day and probably record what they say. Be sure , if you do , to subscribe early in the morning. I subscribed at 8 pm for a day and got only 4 hours of mlb.tv . :(

UncleMo
find the announcers saying the name rogers (kenny rogers for example) and find them saying center. edit the clips so that kenny is cut out and put rogers in front of center to make one file, "Rogers Center". Then put that into your game. That makes their voices stay the same.

UncleMo
for you to find out. extract all .asf audio files, convert them extremely fast with the SX Express that I uploaded, then you can sift through them quicker. You'll be happier that way too since the files sound just like the announcers already.
UncleMo
If you do this tell me what files have the announcers laughing or saying phrases like "Whoooo doggie" or "Oh Man". I'd like to replace their stupid comments with more reaction commentary. It'd be kinda strange, I know, but oh well.

"Stadium" I can use Pro Player Stadium audio Chase Field - Chase Utley and need to find a "Field" (possibly a position audio i.e. Center Field) McAffee Colisiem - have no idea how to get "McAfee" audio. "Colisieum" I can use "Network Colisieum" ok now where do I find the player and position audios. That is the question. If anyone knows where to find these audios please let me know

rossmac7
Ok I was able to get Chase Field done (using Chase Utley and Nate Field). I found a Rogers, Colesium, and Stadium. I was thinking of splicing Randolph and Griffin together for Dolphin. Anyone have suggestions on audio files to splice together to form McAfee and Center. I can find the Mc part no problem. Thanks in advance

No, it wont...I've made some great audios by combining even the smallest parts of names. I have a pretty good Papelbon...
