rossmac7
select import and then import your .dat files then from there you can save it as an .mbe file
Veesmack
hey there, I remember you from another forum. I remember you are a graphics wizard. Anyways, 1. select "Import" then "DAT" then navigate to "MVP Baseball 2005/Data/Database" (you have to go to database as it doesn't go by default). Select a name for your MBE file and open the MBE and you're done

Veesmack
go to "export" then select "DAT files" navigate back to the database folder again as it doesn't go there already (though there are ways around it I heard)
stecropper
Bats - Look in the MVPEdit folder and there you should find a Readme.html type file that has pretty good instructions and intro to MVPEdit. Fantastic tool. Take Care, Don
Bats
well when i export it and click on the database folder.. it asks to over write and i do then I get an error saying the attrib.dat is read only and cant be over written.... and I looked at the readme.. and it dosnt say which folder to choose.. just says the file name wont matter
rossmac7
right click on your dat files and go to properties and uncheck read only. As was previuosly stated Patch 4 causes errors with MVPedit. Either download the MVPedit patch in the download section or install EA patch
MarkB
1. Don't use all uppercase in thread titles. 2. Read the FAQ in MVP 2005 General.
