MVPEDIT HOW?

Hi, just recently got 2005.. and downloaded mvpedit... now there was no instructions how to load rosters.. i try import.. or open. and there is nothing listed as a.mbe file or whatever it is.. I used mvpedit on 04.. but just dont remember and I did search the forums.. but theres a thousand topics... Any help would be great, thanks.

hey there, I remember you from another forum. I remember you are a graphics wizard. Anyways,

1. select "Import" then "DAT" then navigate to "MVP Baseball 2005/Data/Database" (you have to go to database as it doesn't go by default). Select a name for your MBE file and open the MBE and you're done

Ok well i do that and choose a name to save and get runtime error 53... and when i goto open thioe .mbe is there but i get a different run time error and nothing is there...

Ok im stupid... i just went to data, then openend and saved in database... Once i tried going in database and then saving in database it worked..

well when i export it and click on the database folder.. it asks to over write and i do then I get an error saying the attrib.dat is read only and cant be over written....

and I looked at the readme.. and it dosnt say which folder to choose.. just says the file name wont matter

right click on your dat files and go to properties and uncheck read only. As was previuosly stated Patch 4 causes errors with MVPedit. Either download the MVPedit patch in the download section or install EA patch 5
