What did you ask for for Christmas?

Mine:

Battlefield 2

A cammo baseball cap with the Texas Rangers logo

A book on sales and investing or one of those topics, can't remember.

I think my wife may get me a PS2 game so I'm not looking forward to that and she doesn't know what games WON'T run on our PC so I'm worried I'll get a game that I can't play. She scares me.

A score of P.G. Wodehouse books, a number of classic films (no Godard though -- but I think he's awesome), an old-school Astros hat, some books on pedagogy, specifically composition pedagogy, and I hope for some surprises.

I ask for only a simple few things this season. I ask for my family's health and well being and happiness throughout. I ask that my wife doesn't have to catch too many babies at the hospital, so that I may visit her on this special day.

As for gifts, there is nothing I really want and few things I need so I hope we all enjoy a quality holiday season and happy New Year.

I do hope to get some stadium editing done on Christmas Day though.

Only think I asked for was an IPOD which I'm getting. Other than that, there wasn't anything I wanted, because all I do is listen to music pretty much, and I buy shorts/pants when they are on sale and I wear nothing but band shirts, in which 3/4's of them are black, lol.

Co-signed.

If you have to ask for a gift for Christmas, you have no right to celebrate it in the first place, IMO.

I ask so it helps my wife. She doesn't want to buy me anything I don't want. I don't "ask" anyone else. I'd actually prefer it if our society would move away from gift giving. The materialism is a bit annoying. And especially the ungratefulness you find in others that you give gifts to.

Red Sox fans to stop being stupid, and the media to stop doing a ****-poor job, whether covering sports or politics.

Neither is going to come true.

Hey i think I do a damn good job!

I totally agree! I hope for a great year of health and prosperity for myself, my family, and my friends, both in life, and online!

...although my wifed did get me a PS2 with a network adapter, MVP 2005, and Smackdown vs. Raw 2006. God Bless Her.

It has been a while since I posted on here, but here it goes.

It's also different when you have a big family (7), and everyone asks what you want.

Call of Duty 2, couple dress shirts for work, poker chips, cards, etc., some moola for my new PC, and some art supplies.

I agree, both my sister and I got early Christmas gifts. Her's was a miniature Schnauzer...

Yeah, would not be good to wrap a dog up and leave it under the tree for a week.

Yea, I got pretty bored at work. Ran out of Madden msg boards to go, so I went to my next game. :)

Also, if anyone ever wants to hit me up, I use xfire, www.xfire.com, good messanger in my opinion. Lets you see what games you friends are playing, while they are playing, and you can talk to them while they are playing.

Apr4488 is my name on there.
