All my players wearing goggles.

Ok. I'm trying to keep a cool head here, but I can't seem to ever get MVP to work correctly. If one thing is working, something else isn't. Anyway, I barely re-installed MVP, fresh. I downloaded the 3rd patch, and Big Shcmooz's Roster w/Moser's Uniforms. It worked pretty well, then I downloaded the latest Ultimate Rosters. This made all my players cyberfaces into the same one. One with goggles. Then I went into MVP Edit to change the head #, and it says runtime error now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

you are getting a runtime error in MVPedit because it uses gfxpak and your models.big has more than 3000 files

and you can not use the latest Ultimate Rosters with "Big Shcmooz's Roster w/Moser's Uniforms pack" unless you want to renumber about 500 face values

the runtime error is nothing to worry about just hit OK and go on editing

You have to make a choice. If you want the cyberfaces, you have to use the roster that comes with my download. If you want the ultimate roster that is released by Totte, you will have to manually edit each added cyberface. (the default one's that come with the game you can leave alone, since Totte's release has those numbers already)

You can do this by opening 2 mvpedits. One would contain the .mbe file of the rosters I uploaded & one would contain the .mbe file of the one Totte uploaded. You then compare the names & manually change the cyberface numbers whereever it is appropriate. Btw... if you do decide to go that route, PLEASE send me the .mbe file after you finish. I would greatly appreciate that. You can PM me & I will give you my e-mail address.

If you decide however to use the roster Totte uploaded, here is what you should do. No need to reinstall the whole game. Just retrieve your models.big off the CD & put it into the game. But before doing that you can still get the uniforms into your models.big which you are planning to put into the game by extracting the uniforms from the models.big you downloaded from me. You can do this with either eagraph or biggui. Then insert them into the models.big you will be using. Instructions on how to insert these files is in the second readme of my download.

As for the runtime error, my advice is to start from scratch. Put in the unedited (by you) .mbe files & try to do it again & see if that works. This time don't give the number that get's you all goggles. Perhaps the .mbe file became corrupted somehow.

Btw... you should know that using Totte's roster upload with my models.big should not hurt your game. You simply will not get the benefit of the added cyberfaces. But the game itself should function just fine. I will be honest, I have no idea why you say that ALL your players faces have goggles. Only the one's that have a specific cyberface number should have goggles. The cyberfaces the game came with should not have any goggles at all. (except perhaps Gagne & Francisco Rodriguez) Also, only some of the generic cyberfaces (numbered 901) have the goggles. All the rest are regular eyes. (I think)

Hope this info helps.

Yeah, only some of them had the goggles. Hmm... I really want the updated rosters, and I think assigning the faces would be less work then updating the roster, so I think I am going to do that. I'll send it to you when I'm done if you still want. Also big shmooz, whenever I install a cyberface (Khalil Greene's long hair in particular) only the .fsh file seems to install. I mean the texture changes but not the head shape.
