Understanding .mbe files

My current set-up is a double install of sorts. I have the regular game with Ultimate's latest roster update in one folder (which uses it's own mbe file). I also saved this as my "default" roster for the regular game. I have Total Classics Ver. 4 in a copy of the game in another folder. If I want to add the All-Timers .mbe to the "my documents" folder, how/where would I read it and keep it seperate from everything else?

Would I save Ultimate's rosters as something else and make the All-Timers my default roster instead?

sure that will work. Make it the default then save the roster in the game, then exit the game. Now make ultimate your default roster again and any time you want to use the all-timers team just load the roster save

If you have two copies of MVP2005 (one for "regular" MVP and one for the Total Classics), then you will have two "default" rosters, since you should have a data database folder for each installation (the Ultimate rosters will be used for "regular" MVP and the All-Timers rosters will be used for Total Classics).

You can keep your .mbe files wherever you want. When you want to edit the All-Timers roster in MVPEdit, select the Open option and then select the folder where the All-Timers.mbe file is stored. If you want to make changes and then export them, make sure that you point to your Total Classics data database folder.

Let me know if you still have questions.
