medric822 Posted December 31, 2005 Share Posted December 31, 2005 WOAH! I just turned my first EVER triple Play! WOW! I didn't even do that on MVP 04! Ok, here's what Happoned. I'm the Yankees, Jeter's at short Dave Murphey playing 2B Andy Pettitte Pitching runners on 1&2, nobody out batter hits a shallow fly to center, and the runners are off. Jeter catches, and fires to Murphey for two. Dave Pivots, and fires to Andy at First to complete the TP! David Ortiz was my 1B, but IDK where he was on that play, and nor do I care! I was so pumped, that I let out a shout of JOY! That was so loud, my parents woke up and asked what was wrong. I said I stubbed my toe, and they went back to be. yhw4life Posted December 31, 2005 Share Posted December 31, 2005 I've turned 2 triple plays..1 in 04..1 in 05. 04...men on 2nd and 3rd..no outs. Sac fly to left field..the runner on 3rd takes off..once he sees i'm throwing home..the runner on 2nd takes off....my throw beats the runner at home...my catcher then fires it to 3rd for the 3rd out. 05...I pulled an around the horn triple play.
