roster updates for PSP games

Recommended Posts

I got MLB for the PSP for Christmas and I was wondering if there are any roster updates that I can download for that game or for MVP 2005 for the PSP.

If there isn't, is anyone really good at reading .sav files? the season save files for MLB are in the .sav format and if someone has a program that is compatable with the .sav files, I am going to attempt to update the rosters

I will release MVP PSP rosters when the ultimate roster is opening day 2006 ready

THATS why Kraw is the man!! BTW, great job with 4.63 update for Xbox!!!!!

question: How would one transfer the rosters to a psp???

is there a special hookup (USB Cable) to download it with?? Or is there a AR for psp?

Thanks

after I make the roster SAV all you guys have to do is transfer the sav to the PSP using a generic USB cord

making it is a *****, I'm only going to do it once. That is why I'm waiting for opening day 2006 rosters.

you have to hand edit the roster dat files with a notepad like program, the PSP version only has the 30 MLB teams no minors. I have to manually edit out all the other players and teams from Ultimate's roster

then I have to put the complete game on a memorycard and boot the game from the memory card

once it is loaded I just save the roster, exit the game and copy the SAV from the PSP using a generic USB cord

1. Unzip the the game save folder from the zip file.

2. Connect the PSP to the computer through the USB Cable.

3. Go to PSP folder then SAVEDATA folder and back up your current saves.

4. Place gamesave folder on your psp in the save data folder.

5. Discconect your psp form the USB cable and play your game with game save.

PSP has no minors. No Owner Mode. No Hitter's Eye. Missing several batting views. Also missing several of the key sliders, like "User Pitch Meter Difficulty" or whatever it is.

And hitting is difficult .. hard to judge pitch type or speed well and react quickly.

But still, IMHO, pretty cool for a little toy.
