Resting players

Does a players chance for injury increase when he is fatigued?

I think so.

How do some of you manage resting players?

I try and give them a game off when they're at around 90 %. I'm also trying not to rest all my star players at once...

both more risk, and less active, hich means chances for hits/ great plays drops. I ususlly have several uility players play a gme for them on a long game playing streak, and/or take star pout and replace with a utility player for last 3-4 innings, so they dont complain about playing time. I only have one crappy guy on my team, and he's also leading the league with HR's

Most of my starters do fine for until the next rest, (using yankees as example) i'm talking about athletic players like A-rod, Jeter. (DHing these players works well, no need to take them out of the line up) Its most important rest your catcher, who looses energy fastest, So always have a good backup catcher. Also older players and rookies need to be rested (cano, Sheffield).

Usually rest them when they'r at 80.

Question about resting. I normally rest my guys at about 85%. If for example, I rest Sexon for a game at 85% and then bring him into pitch hit in the 9th inning, when I start my next game what will his energy level be at 100% or 83%? When you go to pitch hit or swap a base runner it does not show there energy level like in High Heat.
