PS2 to PC Adapter vibration problems

Hey everyone, just got the PC version and really loving it so far. Also thanks for the work people did to figure out the controller config stuff, because that got my Kiky PS2 to USB adapter working. I still have one issue, don't get the vibration. I have it turned on in game, and I know vibration works with the controller through the testing you can do in the control panel. Has anyone had any issues with vibration, and maybe know how to fix it?

I have that adaptor and it works great. Did you use my faq when you edited the registry and such?

I assume you have the latest drivers (link in the faq).

What controller are you using? Is it an official ps2 dual shock. I only ask because I know with the ps2 version, it won't accept the ps1 dual shock.

i'm using an official sony PS2 dual shock controller...I grabbed the new drivers, and got a cfg file from one of the posts...i'll look at the faq and make sure I've got everything I should. When I'm home tonight I'll make sure to grab your exact cfg file and see how that works

*edit* oh, I also did the regedit part as well...I think I'm all right with what I've done, just odd that I can test the vibrations, but when I have it selected as 'on' in game I don't see anything. Is the red LED light on your controller lit when you have vibration on? Mine's lit, just trying to think of stuff

that's the one I have, says it supports PS2, so I'm assuming I'd get the vibration on that

Vibration only works when you are pitching. In fact, It is the key for good pitching without seeing cursor ball, great for head to head games. The farther you're from strike zone, the harder the rumble. Soft rumble means you're painting the cornes!

yeah, I know it should work when pitching, but for some reason it's not...you're right, that's how I used it on the PS2. For some reason it's not working for me, I'll mess around with it, gotta be something between the game and my drivers, because the config in the control panel allows me to test vibration just fine, so I know it's getting juice. Anyways, it's not a huge deal, i can live without it

Is it just me? I don't see any FAQ or any reference to drivers at this link. My forced feedback doesn't work either so I'm curious as well. Thanks.

I've got a different adapter, but same issue...I can even get it to vibrate in the controller testing portion in window's gamepad control panel, just not in MVP...I'm kinda lost at this point, but it's not a big deal, the game's just fine without the vibration on pitching, infinitely better than the PS2 version

I've got the PS2 controller and the Radio Shack adapter. Had to edit the reg a while back to get the game to recognize this controller. I named it the Logitech Dual Action USB. Forced feedback never worked. Tried downloading the driver in your last post there and installed it. It installed a joystick called the USB something. When I ran joy.cpl it still showed my Logitech Dual Action USB stick PLUS the new one under that that the driver listed in the last post installed. Fired up the game and still no forced feedback. Why does regedit still think I have the Logitech after installing the drivers and having it install a new stick? And how do I get the feedback to work on this one? I uninstalled the drivers and will re-install when I hear something.

Thanks in advance.

Unplug your controller, install the new drivers, plug it back in. Let me know what happens.

You may have to do the regedit again.
