royals_fan_16 Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 My game is running kind of choppy on my brand new built computer, and I don't believe it should be doing so. My video card is a VG Sapphire X850 CF 256, and I have the Athlong 3800 duel processor. Anyway to fix this problem? NYYKing Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 make sure you have the game updated with the latest patch and you installed the latest video card drivers. Close all programs in the background that may take up system resources (like virus scan) and see if there's any improvement. Sidewinder Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 Try adjusting your Windows Virtual Memory settings. This helped me quite a bit also. I only have 512 Megs RAM, so lyour milage may vary. But, I reset mine from 756 Megs to 3072 and my game has become smoother on pans and animations. Also, Tiger Woods '06 had a very positive difference with overall smoothness too.
