When I create him, I always end up giving him the best ratings. I don't know why but I always end up doing that. I want help from you guys deciding what ratings and things to give to that player. I want to make him a good prospect like Hanley Ramirez but not be Manny or Pujols at just 18 years old. Name: Pavel Castro Age: 17 Position: SS Top Prospect: Yes Star Power: Super Those are given. Now I want you guys to help me figuring out the other ratings to make him a good prospect but not yet ready to play in the big leagues. I plan to start him in Single A so the ratings should be similar to that category. Keep in mind that I want him to be a good PROSPECT but not Alex Rodriguez. THANKS!!! seanzarelli Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 When I make a prospect that I want to start in A to become a good player over a couple years, this is what I do for a right handed player (reverse if he's a left handed player) Batting: VS RHP: Power: Between 35-42 VS RHP: Contact: Between 44-48 VS LHP: Power: Between 40-49 VS LHP: Contact: Between 45-52 Ability: Alot to list here and I don't have the XBOX on to list them all, but I usually range between 50-65 for everything. Hot Cold: I give 2 Hot zones, 3 Cold zones, and 4 Neutral zones for each side Hope this helps some to help limit making a super player. With you giving him Super Star Potential and Top Prospect, he should have no problem becoming a star. seanzarelli Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 i'd say that'd be a good place to start off with. maybe drop the contact points by a couple for both right & left. also what i would do is simulate a season with him in single a ball and see how he does, make sure he doesn't tear it up. The attachment has his stats... Opinions? Edit: I hit into a problem. I put him in as a Free Agent, started a dynasty and he doesn't accept a deal unless it's a Indispensable MLB deal...
