royals_fan_16
I posted this in the Gen board, but I realized this is the better place. The gameplay moves at 2x the speed. All of the players run 2x too fast, as well as the pitching motions, batting stances, pitch meter, etc. Anyone know what this could be? I have no clue how to keep it at normal tempo/speed. YankeexDev
I think you need to turn vsync on
big shmooz
Thsi happened when you patched the game. One you patch the game you need to make sure your monitor is running at 60 hz & you have V-Sync on both in windows & in your game. Otherwise, what you described is going to happen. royals_fan_16
What is vsync?
big shmooz
It means vertical sync. It is part of a software package which comes with your drivers for your video card in windows. The purpose of this program is so that your monitor & video card work in tandem in order to display the picture without any "smearing". If your video card for instance runs faster in displaying to the monitor, it causes the monitor to not display the picture properly. In order to get the v-sync turned on, you have to go into the software of your video card. To do this, right click on your desktop & then click on properties. Then click on settings. Then click on the "advanced" button. Then click on the tab that corresponds to your video card name. From there you have to fiddle around to find the v-sync adjust setting. After you change it to "on", save your change. Then you need to go into the game & go to your mvp options & turn on V-sync there. Also, make sure as I said above, that your monitor is running at 60 hz. If it's not, you can change it in the same section you change the v-sync, but instead of clicking on the name of the video card tab, click on "monitor" & change the hz there to 60 & save your changes. big shmooz
I just turned vsync on and made my moniter run at 60 hertz, and it didn't do anything. You turned v-sync on in both windows AND the game?
Antipop
I have the same troubles, but what is strange is... i have vsync on, on my card AND in game, ANd my monitor is running at 60 hz. I'll be playing just fine, and then it slowly starts speeding up (if that makes sense) until its fully 2x speed. It fixes when I reboot, but it eventually does the same stuff, can someone help?
