MarkB
Maybe for the more adventurous of you, but educational nonetheless. How to recharge an alkaline battery. Yes, the ones that say they are unchargable. Looks like a good way to save money if you don't have a recharger already for designed rechargable batteries. How to load Adobe Acrobat reader faster. Basic, but hey, it works. That's all that matters, right? I've hated .PDF's for a long time, so maybe this will quell that hatred slightly. jhath
bravesj... i happen to know about that after 2 years of chem... temperature is one of the factors of the speed of a reaction... thats all a battery really is... a reaction that produces chemical energy.. by keeping the battery cold, the reaction slows down, thus prolonging the life of the battery... overall though, while it will make a difference.... its not all that big... most of it depends on the chemicals used in the reaction anyways...
