I kinda did because I realize you were a Astro fan, I think its important I first make you guys helping me happy. Well, the only guy from Astros that gave me some problems was Craig Biggio, I would like, yes, to have good quality action images of him, try to find one on his batting stance, or batting with a NOT much ugly face (its hard sometimes on some guys hehe). Lets go: Well, sometimes is hard to find the guy with his today team shirt playing, so I preferred use the spring training them other team shirt... seems you prefer other team shirt on the guy besides the true team training shirt... humm... aint sure... using your example I think people would prefer see Damon using Yankees spring training uniform besides his old team (Red Sox) shirt.. as it is now.. 1x or 2x?? Its the second time that people ask me to do this portrait pack using 2x sizes. On the tests that I made i didnt saw REALY no gain, on all situations that the portraits shows in game... BUT let me warn that this happens that way ONLY for this kind of portraits pack that Im doing, how so? Making a 256x256 besides a 128x128, would help the game do its Interpolation process, helping the game deal specialy with ALIASES, reflecting a better edges and dealings with the alpha... for the Ultimate Portraits pack done here by other guy, it makes the portraits BETTER looking, it does because will get the edges WAY better, but if you compare inside the face in game, the result is pretty same quality 1x or 2x. In my portraits case theres no reason to make them 2x, would make NO difference, because I dont have alias and alpha dealings, since they are all squares, so make them 2x would just make the package larger and slower. If im wrong with Im saying please let me know, and I promisse to make them 2x. But please TEST before saying Im wrong. Oh!! Will check that out... thats kind of mistakes are possible since Im dealing here with a thousants of pics. Thanks mate. Thanks all, Ket which one is 2x? But seems to make the 2x isnt the normal procedure of Photoshop + MVPedit, Imean I did a 256x256 portrait bitmap on photoshop, a 256x256 alpha.. but the MVPedit doesnt seems to acept, even Im deleting first the fsh or trying to update a existing one... I think it requires a hex edit, or you could just use nfshtool to replace the images in someone else's pre-made 2x portrait. I'm fairly certain your Mike Lamb is actually in the right uni. It'd be nice to get action shots to go along with the new Busch Stadium mod - in case that thing ever gets completed. I can't even imagine doing that from scratch. From now on every portrait that be possible to do in 2x, I will be doing, I belive that will be 70% to 80% of them... On the card now those made in 2x appears in Green listed. (Since I learned how to do 2x in the middle of my work with Mariners, you guys will realize that a minority there is on 2x.) NO REQUESTS NOW.. hehe... I HAVE to do my Boston Red Sox now on 2x! You really can't see a difference? 2x is much clearer (less fuzziness and jagged edges), but I will say that for such a small picture (insignificant even) it might not be worth that much of a difference. Well.. check exacly on the Cinccinati writen on the uniform... the 1st image has way better definiton... if you still dont see... Sry mate... you need glasses.. The difference is small I agree, thats why I will not REMAKE what I already have done in 1X... but from now on makes no difference for me do 1X or 2X the work is the same.. so I will make the better option. Not just because 2x.. its because that new MVPEdit version made a marvellous work on the FSH files... compacting them... DAM those amazing modders who throw out very cool editing tools!! For example, maybe a diving attempt by a fielder, a guy running around the bases, or guys joking around in the dugout. Maybe Ill just do that for myself. Otherwise, GREAT JOB. Keep up the good work.
