chuckm1961
I want to move logos around for a project, swap them between teams. In other words, change their numbers/team associations. I open the logos.big file in the frontend sub-directory, using BigGUI. I use F2 to rename the files. I do temporary re-names for the switches. For example, to swap logo 000 with logo 114, I first rename logo 000 to logo 114e. Then I rename logo 114 to logo 000, and rename 114e to 114. When I'm done, I click on "Rebuild." I have tried highlighting all the files first, and not highlighting them --doesn't work either way. All the files are compressed, just like they were when I opened the .big file. And when I go into the game, it seems to make no difference. Am I mis-using BigGUI or misunderstanding something about logos.big?
MarlinsMY
If you're just switching affiliations at the same level, for instance Tampa Bay's AA becomes Cincinatti's and vice-versa, you can switch the team IDs in "team.dat" in the datadatabase folder. It saves the trouble of renaming other files. These changes won't affect any saved games like dynasties or owner modes. However, if you actually need to re-name files in logos.big, it is best to extract all files to be switched, and then open a hex editor and change every instance of "000" to "114e" (using your numbers). I think for logo files there are two numbers you'll need to change. After that, rename the file itself, re-import them, and then I think you should be all set. chuckm1961
So editing Team ID's in the "team.dat" is ONLY useful when you're just switching affiliations at the same level? To rename the files in logos.big, I should extract/import with .... BIGGui, EAGraph? Does it matter? Oh, so the step I seemed to have missed is to use Hex Editor to change the numbers at some other level/location, along with changing the number on the .fsh file. Thanks, MarlinsMY! Hey, does this same procedure work for editing Uniform numbers in the models.big file?
big shmooz
To edit uniform numbers, simply extract (with either eagraph or biggui) the uxxx.fsh & the f.xxx.fsh ("xxx" represents the actual numbers of the uniforms) & change their numbers to whatever uniform number you desire it to be & then reimport it using either eagraph (I compress them first, but you don't really have to if you don't want) or Kraw's installer. (follow instructions on how to use the installer) I would also recommend putting the models.big into read only mode after touching it. Otherwise over time your files will become corrupted. MarlinsMY
I've used BigGUI, but EAGraph should work too. I've never tried switching AA to AAA or like that, because I think then you need to change files defining what league the teams are in and things like that. However, I've switched the Portland Sea Dogs and the Carolina Mudcats, and the game did recognize that the Sea Dogs would not always have the DH anymore (since their parent club was again the NL Marlins), so the game might be "smarter" than I think. krawhitham
For logos you can not just change the files names you have to edit the .fsh files
