ok does anyone happen to have the 2006 schedule, not the 2007 schedule. i am trying to get the triple a and double a schedule from the 2006 schedule download.

but the eamods.com page is down and i don't think the schedules for both triple a and double a are in the 2007 schedule download. thank.

What issue will be resolved?

Look, if 07 maker isn't working for you (it isn't working for me either), just get the schedule.big file you want to use. Copy it into your datadatabase folder.

Then download ty's Schedule Updater:

http://mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=3200.html

and run the Schedule Updater while you're in your game.

It should update to the 2007 season, with the schedule that you specified earlier when you copied the new schedule.big file into your datadatabase folder.

Thanks for that compmaniac. I had forgotten all about Ty's program! Now my dynasty has been updated to 2007.

I used Ty's program to update the year. I was playing with the 07 schedule, and had forgotten to run the 07 maker before I started my dynasty. Using Ty's program, I was able to move from 2005 to 2007.

Ok got the 07 schedule to "work" (it shows in game, correct day, year, etc) BUT, it doesn't jive with who you "actually" should be playing according to the 07 schedule, ex: with starting a dynasty with the Pirates, i should be opening up with the Atros (playing at Houston) BUT i still open up with the Brewers up in Milwauke??? Can this actually be fixed "or" is the scheduler actually just a program that changes the date in game but not your actual schedule (as per who you should really be playing) according to the actual 07 schedule.....................

ScottyG, it should work fine.

Don't use the 07 maker.

1. Copy the new schedule.big file into your datadatabase folder, replacing the original one.

2. Use tywiggin's excellent Schedule Updater to change the year to 2007 (while you're running the game, after you have started a NEW dynasty).

3. Now, you can save the dynasty.

4. You can play, and it should be fine.

I'm just wondering, is the latest version on the download (http://mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=3568.html)

the version in the 07 mod? If not can we get the individual download updated one last time?

Appreciated,

TS

Just posted an update to the 2007 schedule.

All the gametimes have been updated where needed to match what is posted on mlb.com. Also a StL-Pit game was moved from 5/21 to 5/24.

So you have to type the entire mlb162_1.dat by yourself? (all the abbreviations, day, gametime)

Wow!

I think I'll try to do the 2008 schedule for next year to see what it's like.

It's not that bad, I used a spreadsheet so there's not that much repetitive typing.

But yea, making this type of schedule takes a lot longer than converting a historic schedule from OOTP.

No, not if you export it as a .csv file with a comma delimiter and no text delimiter.

It's much easier with a spreadsheet since you can sort it by team or whatever for editing.
