NYYKing
http://local.live.com/ the UI sorta blows, but this is so cool. you can browse the map of some major metropolitan areas (like NYC, Boston, LA, SF, etc) and you can check out an actual birdseye view of the area. The detail is much better than the satellite images from Google Earth and the images are shot in an angle so you can see the building from sort of a 3d perspective (and you can rotate the view to see the area from different directions). So far I've checked out NYC and LA, and it seems that every portion of the cities is covered. Pretty good time waster if you ask me
SwinginSoriano
If I wasn't currently wasting my time with other things, I'd use Google Earth a lot. I wonder what Iraq looks like...
Pirate
Cool but I like google earth better
NYYKing
IMO, it's a cool idea, but poorly executed. The browsing is way too slow and sometimes its hard to track where you are exactly. I'd like to see Google integrate something like this into Google Earth.
AstroEric
My favorite thing to do in Google Earth is to go to the Grand Canyon, use the tilt to make the topographic map 3D, and then dip down in the canyon for a self-guided tour. --Eric
NYM
I zoomed near my house and say my car! That's a cool site.
Don
Google Earth is crap, man(atleast for me). I can't find anything with that. I have to be really specific.
APR
Funny thing about that program is that I typed in a familiar spot near me, and some of the buildings that are up now are not even started on the page. So much for "Live".

So much for "Live". I noticed the same thing. I was looking at ballparks and Shea had the 2003 style grass. So then on to other parks, I checked Citizens Bank Park. It was still in construction and the Vet was up. That think three years off!

Well think about it, it would take a very long time to take satellite images of the entire earth all over again
