Really wasn't sure where to put this topic. Just wanted to get the Administrators thoughts on approaching twenty thousand members. Did you all ever envision it being this big? Was this site mainly started as a way for the five of ya'll to share your ideas, or did you see this type of response happening. Just wanting to get your thoughts on this milestone.

It'd be a cool accomplishment if this site still exists until the release of the next real PC Baseball game.

that would be one heck of a feat, but it might not be as far off as we may think. all the fantasy baseball sites are suing (sp?) Major League Baseball for giving exclusive rights for fantasy baseball, and i believe that is tied in with the video games as well, so there's a possibility that EA or somebody could release another mlb pc game sometime soon.

Doesn't impress me at all. If I knew that approaching 20,000 different members was going to happen, I'd be excited for the site. But how many of these 19,000 plus members are duplicate accounts? I mean timay had about six of them all by himself. And there were many others like him. So, no, I don't care about this.

And how many actually post here on the boards or contribute? Most of the members probably just come on the board and download. Shame, cause this is a nice site.

I'd say less than that. maybe around 700-750...

If you're referring to users active in the forums, then you're probably right. I can assure you though, most people just register for the downloads and that number is much much higher.
