adam31 Posted January 24, 2006 Share Posted January 24, 2006 I am trying to convert the MVP NCAA 06 overlay for use in MVP 2005. Here is what I have done so far. I am able to use the FONT.BIG from MVP 06 in the 05, so the font now looks different when I load up the game. I am, however, having trouble bringing the score overlay from 06 to use in 05. I notice there is a different EA logo although most of the other files in IGONLY.BIG and INGAME.BIG are the same. There is a new IGLOAD.BIG. There is also a new animation when the score shows up. Does anyone know where the animation is stored, or how it works? Most of the files are the same so it is logical to think it can be done. Any help appreciated. adam31 Posted January 27, 2006 Author Share Posted January 27, 2006 Any further on this Trues? I opened the hudleft and right.fel files and noticed the 06 overlay doesnt have the "GREYGRID". Instead there is EALOGO Where was this located in MVP 2005? There is also a new file called igframes. Also could you tell me what the igcrsr.fsh file does. I see that it is needed in the latest ESPN overlay, but not on the others? adam31 Posted February 2, 2006 Author Share Posted February 2, 2006 no luck with this yet, I've tried copying the files straight from MVP 06, copying and pasting the .fel info from mvp 06 to mvp 05 ingame.big, replacing the animart.big files, etc. No dice. I am able to get all the way to the loading screen before playing the game, and the bar loads all the way to end and freezes. Can someone with more experience on overlays, tell me all the files in the game that have to do with an overlay? Maybe I'm missing one. Files are the same igload.big is in there as well, which wasn't in MVP 2005.
