FalconLT
Another poster brought this to light but there is evidently a problem with the manager file in the data/database folder. This is located in the EA SPORTS/MVP 2005 folder in your program files folder for the noobs. Anyway, instead of uninstalling like the poster suggested simply put in CD1 of your game and search it for the database folder. Once you open that folder copy the manager file in there. Proceed to over write the corrupt manager file in the date/database folder in your harddrive. Once this happens BINGO the game will now stop crashing when you go to save in Dynasty mode. PS: By search I mean use Start > Search(the CD drive that has MVPCD1)> Database...once the folder shows up open it and find the original manager file on the CD. Copy and paste it over the manager file that the patch 5 installed. This only works after installing patch 5.
FalconLT
Actually I couldn't believe it was that simple a fix either. Stupid EA overlooking something that simple. <_<
FalconLT
OK now this is stupid. After I tested this it worked. I redid my rosters some and now it goes back to the same thing. AHHH!!!
FalconLT
OK then I use the default rosters and it works. Something about editing the rosters from the default causes it to start crashing again. I suggest just molding your rosters after beginning the dynasty with the default.
