Hoop27
I was just looking around at the stadiums and was wondering if there is a pack of all the stadiums in one d/l or at least by divisions? At worst it would be nice to get a general feel of what the best MLB stadium mods are (eg. what's the best Yankee Stadium etc etc.)

JP_Frost
just look at the screenshots to see what you like best. Anything done by Pirate is really good and it really isn't that much work to install stadiums. Just make sure you back everything up.
Pirate
Thanks JP. I agree that my stuff is complete, but I definitely suggest Big O's Fenway and Oriole Park as well as Hyman and Y2K's Yankee, Rollie's Dodger and Halo Fan's Angel Stadium (even if it is not perfect) Someone made a pretty good Dolphins Stadium as well. Renegade44 made a good version of Shea and Posion made a good version of Turner Field but both are only one time of day and I made the other. I thin k that covers everything. I was going to package mine by division, but the file size is much too large.
AstroEric
Those are exactly the things I've downloaded, plus SeanO's Classic Yankee, and paulw's round-up of all of the classic fields. --Eric

jogar84
wouldnt it take the same amount of time downloading them seperately than downloading one large file? Stop being lazy!
Sean O
wouldnt it take the same amount of time downloading them seperately than downloading one large file? Stop being lazy! I don't really have an issue with the single download posts that pop up, uh, constantly, but you bring up a really good point. I find it funny that people don't want to take 20 minutes to download these files, when I've personally put in literally weeks of times in my projects. It's disheartening to think that I (and everyone else who mods for the game) spends so much time making everything perfect, and people don't even want to take the 30 seconds required to download. Just frustrating, and kinda makes you wonder about the state of the country.
Pirate
Drive thrus, ATMs, instant pudding, breaking news, microwaves, the internet, DSL, delivery pizza, remote controls and so much more, we are a lazy society. Not to bash this guy in particular, but we want it all and we want it now.
TobiasLS
You stadium modders, as well as the rest of the modders, maybe do not get the recognition you ALL deserve, but I for one would just like to say that the stadiums, in particular the older "classic" stadiums, are the most anticipated releases for me and I for one would like to say a BIG THANKS! Thanks guys, you are the BEST!
moarobb
I have taken the time to download different stadiums from each of the modders and I deeply appreciate all the hard work you guys do. I find each stadium awesome in it's own way. All modders make this game play like really being there, now if someone could develop a hot dog smell mod to come out of the computer, then I definitely would feel like I am at the ballpark. Thanks everyone!!!!!

Hoop27
Thanks for the suggestions on which ones to grab, it can be hard to tell which stadiums are as close to accurate for some of us that dont live within 500 miles of a major league ball park
GoNats
wouldnt it take the same amount of time downloading them seperately than downloading one large file? Stop being lazy! It's not 'being lazy' it's information overload. Last time I checked there were almost 1400 downloads available in the MVP2005 D/L section. Some of us just got this game and would really appreciate just some quick 'Here's a bunch of good stuff to enhance your game' packs, because until we are vastly more familiar with the ins and outs of the modding community, it's like walking through mud. And just an FYI, every person I know would MUCH, MUCH, MUCH (did I mention MUCH?) rather have to click once on a 300Mb download and go get the paper or make a cup of coffee than: 1. Find stadium 2. Go to 'download' page. 3. Go to REAL download page. 4. Wait 5 seconds. 5. Check list, make sure you haven't grabbed two different versions. 6. Download. 7. Find next stadium, GOTO 2. I don't want to sit at my computer massaging 54 different downloads, I mean, sure, it must've been easy for you, there from the begining, just picking up the stadia as they came along, but heaven forbid you actually realise what it's like to come into a well developed community on your own. If you haven't got anything constructive to say to a mod request, in the future, kindly do the rest of us a favor and keep your hands off the keyboard. Sean O
If you haven't got anything constructive to say to a mod request, in the future, kindly do the rest of us a favor and keep your hands off the keyboard. So with your first post on a new site, rather than doing something nice to introduce yourself or add something to the community, you decide to rip into one of the most prolific modders we have. This is the most inauspicious start since my first post. I'm astonished at the disrespect all these people have, especially new posters, towards older members. And to answer your question, download anything with the phrase editor's pick, but mainly Ultimate Rosters (the one with the most downloads of any mod in the db), and every stadium by Pirate and paulw. SwinginSoriano
If someone wants to compile all the stadiums together and gain everyone's permission to put it into one big file and release it, that's their business. But everyone has been doing it the "old fashioned" way for a while. We should just be happy that people put their time into making these great stadiums. GoNats
I'm sorry, but nobody earns my respect for being snide, rude or disrespectful, no matter what the cause or who you are. Some things I don't compromise on, ever, and disrespect towards newbies is one of them. I really don't care who you are, if someone's new around here, it's your job to handle them gently, period. I've been making a point by using the same tone encountered here in this thread - if it's that much of a problem, that should tell you something, shouldn't it? So, back on track - in the spirit of putting my money where my mouth is, I'm uploading a stadia pack as we speak, it's a big file - 240Mb - but it's got my personal picks for as many stadia as I could come across. There's some great work in there, so make sure to spend some time looking at your fellow fan's handy-work before you go around smacking homers. UncleMo
do not upload a stadium pack, GoNats. If you wish, you (and everyone) may simply download that mvp 06 mvp mod and use the stadium files in there. of course, some people won't think of that, so if you still desire to do that, cool. Welcome to the site. Although I sorta agree it is lazy, I mayself would rather download a pack. Yeah I said so what. )
SwinginSoriano
Why download the 240 mb stadium pack when Krawhitam already uploaded a 300 mb upgrade to MVP 2005 already? Also, did you obtain permission? Do you know there is an upload limit?
Pirate
The problem with a pack is updates. I can upload a pack of stadiums, but it's going to take forever, not to mention upload limits. Say I get past the limits, great until I update a stadium and have to upload the whole pack again because of one update. Waste of my time, especially when I update several stadiums throughout the year. Be happy I even upload the stadiums.
krawhitham
Be happy I even upload the stadiums. I'm very happy, for the love of god please do not **** off Pirate. Sean O
GoNats- Did you ask every modder's permission to create a stadium pack? I don't believe you asked my permission for a park like Classic Yankee Stadium, and it certainly doesn't appear you're on very good terms with Pirate. As for being a newbie, those who respect others receive respect in return. When you shoot your mouth off like the child you are, you get treated as such. If you knew anything about our community or the work that Pirate and others do on a daily basis, or the protocol about uploading others' work, you would know this. As someone who has spent hundreds of hours on projects for this site, I do not enjoy the words of impudent new kids.
