RaptorQuiz Posted February 19, 2006 Share Posted February 19, 2006 I know this was talked about a while back... but I was wondering what Pirate's status was on the New Busch Stadium (Busch Stadium III)? I think the last I'd heard, the plan was simply to leave Busch Stadium II in the '06 mod (the round one, that just got demolished). I know it'd be difficult to create Busch Stadium III using only the limited pics available on stlcardinals.com... but it's kind of a shame to release the '06 mod with a stadium in it that no longer exists. Of course - I can't really talk, considering all of you guys do amazing work on this mod and all I seem to do is complain about my aging computer, etc. lol. Anyway - I have a few pics I took myself of the new stadium in construction, but I'm not sure how helpful they'd be. Ah well - I was just wondering if he was still putting any thought/energy into the new Busch of if he'd moved on to bigger and better things. dochase Posted February 19, 2006 Share Posted February 19, 2006 I play as the Braves and noticed the jumbotron might be broke, at least in the night version (I haven't played the day version yet) The photo of the player no longer shows up in the jumbotron, it does show some type of overlay, but it used to show the photo of the player that was batting in between cut scenes. jackcasper49 Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 hey guys, great to see a project like this in the works ... makes me stop and think that MVP is still alive and well and though I have no time for roster modding at the present it gives me a smile and a chance to play some ball ... looks like awesome work ... one trouble I came across though: I can't get the .dat files to load into MVPedit with rglass's latest release ... I sent him an email and haven't heard back yet ... is it just me, or is this a known issue? I get a runtime 53 error when trying to import the files ... PeterOS Posted February 21, 2006 Share Posted February 21, 2006 I noticed after installing the patch and using one of the datafiles posted, with the behind the caemera view zoomed back enough to see the second base runner, you can see the lack of texture on the runner's head/face. I remember that they wore sleeves at night in that game and none during the day. I was wondering if this same thing could be implemented into MVP 06 since it is just modded version of 05. I started a dynasty with seattle and the on the 2nd game of the season against the angels I set the windspeed to 30 mph and both teams had sleeves on. Angels had red and the m's had blue. Im adding this, I just went back and started a dynasty with the yankees. The first game against the A's I set the wind to 30 mph and the yanks and the A's had sleeves. Green for the A's and black for the yanks. It seems to be that 30 mph windspeed is the key. If someone could find out how to alter this than that would be a great mod, because every team would have there own sleeves to match there uniforms. I did set the datafile to have the walk-up music off. A bad oversight on my part. rossmac7 Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 okay, the download contains 2 folders, one labeled "black" and the other "brown" inside each folder is 2 files, fglv.bat and fglv.fsh I tried putting these files in the main MVP baseball 2005 folder and running the fglv.bat file. I got a system32 cmd.exe screen that says "gfxpak is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file" Am i missing something here? thanks in advance for the help. download GFXPAK from the download section and put it into the MVP 2005 folder as well.
