Ghostdog
Hi Folks, in the last couple of days i did a lot of modding to my game, including the UR 5.1, total potraits, and few stadium mods. Everything runs great and i give the modders mad props for their great work. But BigO´s Fenway Park crashes on me, like after 3 innings of play. I did a search but got no results. I´m just curious if anybody else has the same issue with that incredible looking Ballpark?! The other Stadiums work perfect...Any suggestions what could cause the problem? THX ina advance... kicko
its not the park it has to be something else, i have used both day and night without crashes since last season, restore it and try it with the default rosters.
Pirate
It's the park. It is very taxing on the system. Uses a lot of memory. You can skirt the issue by compressing the cram32.fsh. Kraw created a nice littel batch that will compress things check it out.
kicko
has it changed since last year??? since it was finished? i have a lower end pc 256ram, raedon 7500 and i dont get a crash at all on fenway. In fact i think if you search posts you will find it did crash on the night version i think and Big O made a few changes to make it a little smaller. Pirate
If you add faces and jersies and extra things in it will suck up more memory. Portraits + Uniforms + Stadiums used to kill me. I compressed my stadiums recently for my use and can make a 20mb stadium only 8mb.
The Big O
It's the park. It is very taxing on the system. Uses a lot of memory. You can skirt the issue by compressing the cram32.fsh. Kraw created a nice littel batch that will compress things check it out. The cram32, crowd, and field fshs were all compressed using QFS compression for both my Fenway and Oriole Park mods. It shouldn't be the park. I would say to check your rosters to see if it is a certain batter coming to the plate when it crashes because it could be a roster or cyberface issue. If it was a size issue then the game would crash while loading the stadium, it wouldn't even load.
Pirate
See I had that problem I would get six seven innings in and the game would crash. It happened on MVP 2004 and 2005 and once I compressed the stadiums using EAZip I experienced the crashes no longer. it wasn't the same teams same stadiums everytime either. My system would no longer be able to run the game. Like a weight lifter only being able to do 29 reps because he was tired. And dropping the weights on his chest on rep number 30. I could be wrongin my assumption, but it seemingly fixed it for me.

I did notice that the file sizes were different from my individual versions of my mods vs. my mods that are included in the MVP 06 update. Did kraw compress anything further to your knowledge?
