MadHatter
Hello, can someone tell me where or how I can find a uniform mod tutorial? I'm searching for a way to create uniforms of my old Little League team for MVP `05. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Kccitystar
I can try and take a shot at your little league uniforms, however don't count on me to make them on a "next-day" basis though.

AstroEric
For KC and others reading this thread, I have a specific uni question -- How do you make a dark-colored jersey and retain the wrinkles and folds that are there in the template without compromising the quality of the color? The layers just aren't working for me, and when I make the color true, it looks like my players are wearing plastic unis. --Eric
biker_jim_uk
you add 2 extra texture layers over the dark parts, 1 multiply 100% and the one in between the 2 multiply layers set to overlay 70% or so (adjust to taste). I usually do base layer, multiply, overlay, detail layers, final multiply you get this kind of effect

You fill that layer in with whatever color you want and bam, there is your colored jersey template.
AstroEric
I'm totally using Paint Shop Pro, by the way. Though I should probably make that jump to Photoshop. Lemme give this a try and I'll show you guys the results. --Eric

AstroEric
Jim -- Are there multiply options in PSP? If so, I can't find them. And KC...are the templates you're using available from the site? The ones I have don't have a "color" layer option...I guess I should upgrade that too. I'll check around for them when I get home. Thanks for the help guys. Oh! One other question...when you put a logo on a hat/helmet, does it stretch it vertically? Mine always come out pretty distorted, no matter where I place them on the template. --Eric
biker_jim_uk
if there isn't the option, how have I managed to do it and yes some logos get stretched so make then less tall for eg you could always try 'help' layer properties in PsP or read one of the 8 gazillion tutorials on t'net
