wayneboy6
Using MVP edit how can I get my pitcher to throw more K's.
MadHatter
I don't know how to do it in MVP Edit, but I do know that I can really rack up the K's by throwing breaking pitches low and out of the zone on two strike counts.
Don
2-seamer low and away to left-handed hitters might work aswell.
Cash #25
It depends on what difficulty level you play on, but if you've found a good, competitive level: Get two strikes before even thinking strikeout. At that point, you can throw a) the changeup. Most deadly strikeout pitch in MVP. Most of the time, they stare at it like they've never seen one before. slider, low and way. c) fastball just outside a redzone on the corner. They might take a big hack at that. Just remember, your pitch count will soar if you try for a lot of Ks. Now, if I can learn not to fall for those pitches while I'm hitting, I'll be dangerous.
kgbaseball
Now, if I can learn not to fall for those pitches while I'm hitting, I'll be dangerous. Amen. As for getting more strikeouts, Ive come to the conclusion that Im not going to get as many as the real guy would in real life. I play on MVP difficulty, and maybe average 1-4 Ks per 9. Throwing a lot of balls on purpose for me just makes the game drag on and get boring especially since the MVP AI doesnt swing at balls for the most part, so Id rather throw quality strikes instead of blatant balls.
