The Big Unit
Just wondering if there's a mod out there that allows you to take teams and move them to different divisions and/or leagues? Going to date myself here but I'm almost 40 and I've been going to Brewer games since 1971. I absolutely HATED it, (and still do hate it), that the Brewers ever left the American league to go to the National league. What I want to do is re-arrange the teams so the Brewers are back in the AL East with the Yankees, BoSox, Indians, Orioles, Blue Jays, and Detroit where they belong. Is there such a mod already out that would allow me to do this? And maybe even put the other teams back "where they belong"? Thanks for any help in advance. Kriegz
I'm pretty sure that you can do that im fuzz mvp studio :D
The Big Unit
Got excited there for a sec but it looks like that MVP studio only lets you change which minor league team is affiliated with the parent MLB team but doesn't let you move existing MLB teams to different divisions or leagues. Oh well, thanks for trying to help.
Davidc
in my 1992 replay roster, I hit upon the brilliant idea of overwriting the rosters of the Devil Rays with the Brew Crew. OK, so it's not that brilliant., but it gets them into the right league. No, I haven't figured out what I'm gonna do with the national league. Four extra teams just don't help at all. If you just play exhibition games, of course, it doesn't matter, but to play a dynasty, you have to have all 30 slots filled.
The Big Unit
Interesting.... Actually Fuzz PM'd me and graciously asked if I would like him to write a small program that would allow me to do what I had hoped and he said he would after he finished a few other projects. Can't wait! Thanks again Fuzz! Much obliged.
hellblazer_
I too would be very appreciative to see this functionality. It would give add to the games replayability. I hope Fuzz is still around.

Thanks for any help in advance. someone might have mentioned this but i was too lazy to read everyones post... go into your data file and open the "team.dat" file and you can change someones division in there...but game calander still stays the same if you are unsure what to change look for team_division,6 this means that the division assigned to a team is before the ,6 on each line if you go over the data file and look at what the teams are assigned to you can figure out which number belongs to which division. Cash #25
dero, I followed your tip on how to change divisions and schedules through the DAT files. Worked like a charm. I now have Detroit in the AL East playing Tampa Bay's schedule. I wanted to see more of the Yankees, Red Sox, and Orioles. I know, "careful what you wish for," right? Thanks!
